Private Events
We not only host regular workshops, classes, sip & paint events but also do private parties! Whether you're in the Portland metro area or elsewhere in the PNW we can take the experience to you!We can host all-ages at our home base, The Haven or set up at your home. We can also rent out a venue of your choosing (we're collaborating with local bars for Paint & Sips) or glow up your home. There is a 10 person minimum and prices vary.Interested? Meet the Instructors
Kindra Flavin
Kindra Flavin is a life-long visual artist, painter, illustrator, and multi-disciplinary creatrix based in Portland, OR. Coming from an theatrical background, Kindra studied costume and set design at CU Boulder and continues to design and build immersive, colorful worlds as an integral part of her creative expression. As a long time yoga teacher, Kindra’s approach to teaching invites the student to tap into their own divine, creative source and encourages it to dance and play with the world beyond the classroom. Kindra believes that bold, fearless, artistic expression is the key to saving humanity, starting with liberation from within.
Chrissy Groh
Chrissy Groh is an acrylic painter and mixed media artist out of Portland, OR. She graduated with a BA from Luther College in 2010 with degrees in Communication and visual art. She’s shown in galleries in New Jersey, New York, Seattle, Denver, Austin and Portland. She has been teaching youth and adult art classes around the Portland area for three years with Free Arts NW, Bottle and Bottega, Pop and Paint, Paint Nite and is excited to be a part of Blacklight Paint Party. She believes in free or accessible art for everyone and is a strong advocate for bringing more joy, whimsy and color into the world.
Corinne Dermond
Corinne Dermond is a visionary painter, builder, teacher, and professional mess-maker. As an NJ native she blends East and West Coast influences, linear and free flowing, infusing her exploration of the human experience with authentic expression, shadow work, relational healing, and sacred silliness. When she’s not in her castle studio she can be found live painting at local events, teaching classes, hosting paint parties and crafting essential nonsense throughout the PNW. What is Blacklight Paint Party?
Blacklight Paint Party is not just your average painting class or workshop. It's a fully immersive, glowing, neon, fluorescent, paint-and-play experience in Portland, OR, where you can unleash your creativity in a whole new dimension!Started in 2025, founders (Artists Kindra Flavin, Chrissy Groh, and Corinne Dermond) met through local gigs, events, and shared vibes. They eventually combining their love of bright, bold art and joy in helping others find endless fun in painting to create a unique experience.They bring their fun, quirky, delightful personalities to create a non-judgmental, let-your-hair-down, playful environment for others to let their inner artist go to town!
They host regular workshops, classes, sip & paint events to private parties all over the Portland metro area and beyond.
